A BIT ABOUT ME

Being a teenage author and my journey to becoming one!

I'm AJ but I'm known as Annie to friends and family. You know me as an author, but there's a bit more (not loads, though!) to me! I am a teenager and I live in London with my parents and two fluffy cats. I'm currently doing my A Levels - I take English Literature, Classical Civilisation and History (lots of essays!) When I'm not at school or writing, I enjoy singing (I have my grade 8) musical theatre (credits include the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz and Edna in Hairspray) and fencing.

I have always loved and cherished writing. I come from a family that revolves around writing and words, so naturally I would love books! I wrote my first story when I was six years old and I remember it as well as my most recent works! (It was about a magic tree and there was a blue cat called Belinda. The main characters were called Ally and 'Necolas', because I couldn't spell at six) Ever since then, novel and short story ideas have been popping into my head and I've been putting them on paper! When I joined secondary school, I got into writing even more. I started writing my first published novel when I was thirteen and finished it when I was fourteen. I can only hope that even greater things are to come!
